Benchmark
Benchmarks your machine on N.I.N.A.'s real image-analysis pipeline.
Overview
The Benchmark plugin times the genuine N.I.N.A. / Accord image-analysis primitives that make up the post-capture pipeline (debayer, auto-stretch, noise reduction, edge detection, star detection…) over a set of test frames. Each function is invoked exactly the way N.I.N.A. invokes it, then timed and aggregated into a per-function breakdown plus an overall score (higher is faster). This lets you objectively compare machines (mini-PCs, NUCs, laptops) on the real acquisition workload. The plugin also surfaces a system-information block (CPU, Windows edition, frequency, power plan, GPU, RAM), both on the Plugins tab and as dockable panels on the Imaging view. With a single button inside the plugin, you can share your score: it is published on nina-benchmark-plugin.com, where your rig joins the leaderboard (podium) and is compared in detail against the rest of the community.
Features
Genuine N.I.N.A. primitives
Times the real image-analysis functions (BayerFilter, auto-stretch, Gaussian blur, Canny, thresholding, BlobCounter, StarDetection…), called just like N.I.N.A.'s own pipeline.
Comparable score
Per-function breakdown plus an overall score (100000 / sum of ms) to compare mini-PCs, NUCs and laptops on the real acquisition workload.
System information
CPU, Windows edition, frequency, power plan, GPU and RAM detected automatically.
Dockable on the Imaging view
Available on the Plugins tab and as dockable panels on the Imaging view, all backed by a shared engine.
Run history
Each run is persisted locally (JSON); your best score is tracked across runs.
Share & leaderboard
A button publishes your score to nina-benchmark-plugin.com: your machine joins the podium and is compared in detail against the community.
Shared test set
Downloads a test set once (~190 MB), cached and SHA-256-verified before every run.
